Having a parent in the airline industry means that I have been fortunate enough to travel to a number of countries. Being able to experience the two poles of a country's economy and society, has been challenging, yet enlightening. My wanderlust has also played a large part in my decision to pursue travel journalism. My favorite trip thus far has been the one to Tanzania, Africa. The Serengeti's rolling, green grasslands as far as the eyes can see, the vagrat, white cumulus clouds above the Ngorongoro, and the antelopes grazing among the yellow savannahs, all remain etched in my memory. It is, what I consider a once-in-a-lifetime journey. I hope my next journey takes me to Norway, to watch the northern lights and enjoy its scandinavian beauty. Fingers crossed!!

Dance

Besides art, I also enjoy dancing, having been classical trained in the Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam from the age of 9. Originating from the southern-most state of Tamil Nadu, Bharatanatyam is credited to be the oldest Indian dance form. 100 reps of squats become a breeze once you've conquered the half-hour routines done in the constant semi-squating position that characterises this dance form!
